Cary would eventually become a partner in that DJ business when he was 21 years old and bought the company outright two years later. He continues to grow and lead the company to remain the industry front-runner in their market with multiple systems and employees. Cary has been involved in the DJ industry for over 30 years. He has DJ’d thousands of events, including countless weddings. He has trained hundreds of people to become professional DJs. In addition to building and running a successful DJ company, Cary is also a primary partner in other businesses. These range from kids sports camps to international franchises in multiple provinces. In grade eight when Cary was helping decorate for a school dance. He decided to help the DJ carry the equipment into the gym and help them set up. Cary told the DJs he would love to be a DJ. They hired him the following week. He remembers being dropped off on the back steps of schools with all the DJ equipment. He would set it all up, DJ the dance (with cassette tapes!), take all the equipment down, and then wait for his ride to come pick him up on the same back steps – because he was only 15 years old and couldn’t get his driver’s licence for another year!
